Seirawan Chess is a chess variant proposed by Grandmaster Yasser Seirawan. Seirawan Chess is played on a standard 8x8 chessboard, but in addition to usual chess pieces, it requires two more for each side: an elephant and a hawk. Of course such pieces can be improvised somehow, but it is possible to purchase a chess set containing them, or even standalone extra pieces.
